Our client is located just north of Newcastle on the scenic Central Coast, just minutes from the F3 freeway (Tuggerah exit). The leading centre for leisure and entertainment, they cater for all the family with unique facilities and activities.
The marketing responsibilities for the company have been divided into two clear roles; Destination Marketing Manager and Corporate/Group Branding & Communications Manager.
Reporting to the COO, the Destination Marketing Manager is responsible to ensure the market positioning of the company and as a destination, drive sales and visitation whilst maintaining brand integrity and appeal to the target market.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Contributing to the business unit leadership group
- Managing the marketing budget and plan
- Facilitating the creative planning process
- Developing & maintaining media & tourism relationships
- Maximising club revenue
- Determining the appropriate media mix
- Managing local business partnerships
You will manage 4 permanent and 8 part time staff members including the Promotions Coordinator, Marketing Assistant and Promotions Team.
To be successful in the position you must have the following:
- Degree qualified in marketing
- 5 years experience in middle marketing coordination/management
- Experience in strategic decision making
- Media experience
- Previous destination marketing experience
- High level computer literacy
